Information collected automatically
- Usage information: pages you visit, how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search or an ad), and general device and browser details, collected through Google Analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookies and your choices.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and help you choose lessons, teachers, and times.
- To schedule lessons and classes, send reminders, and manage your account and billing.
- To send updates about classes, events, and programs, including by text and email (you can opt out at any time).
- To understand how visitors use our website and improve it.
- To measure whether our online ads lead to bookings.
- To keep our website and forms secure and free of spam.

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry, lessons, scheduling, and reminders, and about classes, events, and promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party.
Payments
Card payments are processed through our scheduling and billing system, Pike13, and its payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our website or in our own systems.
We also accept cash, check, Venmo, and Cash App. If you pay with Venmo or Cash App, that service handles your payment information under its own privacy policy, and we receive only the details the app shows us (such as your name and the amount).
Children’s privacy
Many of our students are children, but this website is intended for parents, guardians, and adult students. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. Parents or guardians provide student information when contacting us or enrolling. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form submissions and messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our communication with you. We keep student and billing records for as long as a student is enrolled and afterward as needed for accounting, legal, and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need; see Your rights.
How we protect information
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to student and customer information is limited to staff who need it, and we use established providers such as Pike13 for scheduling and card payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected people of a data breach as required by law.
Your rights and choices
- Access or correct: ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it.
- Delete: ask us to delete your information, except what we must keep for legal, accounting, or security reasons.
- Opt out: unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, reply STOP to texts, or contact us.
To make a request, email info@brightonmusicacademy.com or call (810) 775-3476.
