Brighton Music Academy is a music education company that provides students of all ages with private and group music lessons. We offer lessons in a variety of instruments, including Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Piano, Voice, Drums, Violin, Cello, Upright and Electric Bass, Saxophone, Trumpet and Ukulele, as well as customized group instruction for band and ensemble play.
Our academy is located in the Mill Pond Center Plaza, a half mile north of Downtown Brighton, and is easily accessible for students in the surrounding areas. We are proud to employ experienced musicians who are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping their students progress. Our teachers understand that every student is unique, and they tailor their lesson plans to meet the individual needs and goals of each student.
Lessons at Brighton Music Academy are available in 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute sessions. For younger students, we typically recommend 30-minute lessons, while older students may benefit from longer lesson times that allow for more discipline and quicker growth. However, we understand that different students have different schedules and commitments, so lesson length is ultimately up to the individual student.
Our mission is to help students of all ages enjoy music for the rest of their lives, whether through playing an instrument or singing. As a subsidiary of Guitar Union Inc., we have a rich history of educating students in the metro Detroit area, with over 1000 students currently enrolled in our programs and over 15,000 students taught since our establishment in 2004.
We serve the communities of Brighton, Howell, Pinckney, Hamburg Township, Green Oak Township, Genoa Township, Brighton Township, South Lyon, Whitmore Lake, New Hudson, and Hartland Township, and we look forward to helping you or your child develop a lifelong love of music.
