Fun, Supportive, and Skill-Building for All Levels
Brighton Music Academy is excited to offer group violin classes that are both educational and engaging for students in Suzuki Book 1 and up. These classes are designed to reinforce essential violin skills while giving students the opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
Group violin lessons focus on developing musical technique through a variety of activities. Students will review songs from the Suzuki method, working together to refine intonation, rhythm, and listening skills. Playing with others builds ensemble awareness and strengthens musical confidence.
What to Expect in Class:
- Repertoire from Suzuki Book 1 and beyond
- Group-based listening and intonation exercises
- Movement-based learning (playing while standing, sitting, or laying down to enhance bow control and focus)
- Interactive games to make learning fun and memorable
- Peer performances from more advanced students to inspire younger participants
These classes are a great supplement to private lessons and offer students the chance to apply what they’ve learned in a supportive, team-based setting. By observing others and playing together, students develop critical listening skills and learn how to blend with a group—skills that are essential for future orchestral or ensemble playing.
All students need to bring is their violin, assigned music, and a positive attitude. This is a great opportunity for students of all ages to strengthen their musical foundation while enjoying the social and creative benefits of group learning.
Join us at Brighton Music Academy for group violin classes that build skill, confidence, and connection—one note at a time.
